| Tour details | ■ Cape Notori (Notoromisaki) ■ A cape located approximately 10km north of Abashiri city. It juts out into the Sea of Okhotsk and holds Lake Notoro, which is separated from the sea by a sandbar and has a circumference of 31 km. This place has become famous as a filming location for airline commercials. ■Misaki Line■ Prefectural Route 76 goes around Cape Notoro, on the east coast of Cape Notoro facing the Sea of Okhotsk, to Abashiri. On sunny days, the straight course heading towards the lighthouse through the meadows, with the Sea of Okhotsk in front of you, and the drive along the coast are very pleasant. ■Lake Notoro■ Located in the northeastern part of Hokkaido, this is a ruined lake with a circumference of 35 km and an area of 58.4 km2 that leads to the Sea of Okhotsk. On the south coast, there is a colony of Coralweed (coral grass), and every year around September, the entire area is covered in red. ■Lake Saroma■ Lake Saroma is the third largest lake in Japan and the largest in Hokkaido. A blue world of sky, sea, and lake. Nature shows us many different colors depending on the season. It's not sky blue or marine blue, it's an original 'Saloman Blue' that you can only find here! |
