★The conservation center explains the current status of endangered wild animals such as fish owls and red-crowned cranes as well as wetland ecosystems, deepens understanding and interest in conservation, and promotes the wise use of wetlands as an information center for the Ramsar Convention. We also protect, breed, and research endangered wildlife.
★The Onnenai Visitor Center focuses on supporting visitors who seek the nature of Kushiro Marsh, so there are not many exhibits, but Kushiro Marsh is the best exhibit. Please take a walk along the Onnenai Boardwalk (a 3.1km nature trail) and experience for yourself the splendor, delicacy, and importance of the wetland.
